The 8th Tehran International Poster Biennial, 15 February - 15 April
2004, has received Icograda endorsement. Organised by the Iranian
Graphic Designers Society (IGDS) with the cooperation of the Visual
Arts Centre and the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, an international
jury will review and compare international posters.
The jury is comprised of members: Aydin Aghdashlou (Iran), Linda
Fu (Australia), Marta Granados (Colombia), B. Martin Pedersen (USA),
Shin Matsunaga (Japan), Morteza Momayez (Iran) and Rosmarie Tissi
(Switzerland). There is no registration fee for this competition.
Competition prizes include EUR 6000, EUR 4000 and EUR 2000 for first,
second and third prize respectively. In addition, The Iranian Graphic
Designers Society (IGDS) will grant the honorary diploma to a talented
Iranian designer and the jury shall also confer the Icograda Excellence
Award. All entrants pre-selected for the competition will receive
a certificate of participation and a copy of the competition catalogue.
