Majid Abbasi ‘s Exhibition and Workshop in Grafist11
30 April - 05 MAY 2007 - Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University,
Istanbul
The 11th Graphic Designer’s Week of Istanbul will take place from
the 30th of April to the 6th of May 2007 in Istanbul, Turkey. Majid
Abbasi together with Maureen Mooren & Daniel van der Velden
(Holland), Leonardo Soرnoli (Italy), Fons Matthias Hickmann
(Germany) and… will be guests at this University for a five days
workshop, speeches as well as exhibitions.
Grafist, International Istanbul Graphic Design Week, is an education
based event, organized by Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (MSGSU)
Fine Arts Faculty (GSF) Graphic Design Department since 1997. The
event is endorsed by Icograda, the International Council of Graphic
Design Associations. Within a week schedule, workshops, lectures
exhibitions, student and teacher exchange and special events are
being held. Grafist is a meeting point for internationally well
known designer / educators with students and graphic design
professionals from various countries. In the last 11 years,
International Istanbul Graphic Design Week had hosted guests from
Holland, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary,
Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Kosova, Lebanon, Poland, Russia,
Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, Uruguay and USA.
