“Ba Erfan va
Hamaseh” in Kabul
A selection of the 2nd and 4th Iranian typography exhibition

Living Traditions is an exhibition
of contemporary art from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran. The 5th
Color will also be represented in this event. “Ba Erfan va Hamaseh”
consists of 30 typographic works previously exhibited by the 5th
Color, including a selection of work by contemporary Iranian
designers. This event is organized by Turquoise Mountain in
collaboration with Aga Khan Trust for Culture, and with the support
of the Ministry of Information and Culture. Funding has been
generously provided by the British Embassy in Kabul and the Finnis
Scott Trust. Turquoise Mountain NGO is a cultural heritage founded
in March 2006, to rejuvenate Afghanistan's traditional crafts and
historic sites, create jobs, skills, and a renewed sense of national
pride.
This exhibition will be shown in Pakistan and Iran in the near
future.
