About
Poster
by Reza Abedini (An introduction for “The keystone”
catalogue)
Poster
is simply a surface with certain heights and widths on which a graphic
designer’s abilities can be presented perfectly and this is
not usually missed by the graphic designers around the world. The
importance of the posters can easily be understood by paying attention
to the number of competitions, collections and books which have
been organized or printed so far.
Poster designing is one of the oldest categories in the history
of graphic design and therefore it has been noticeably improved.
In all schools, posters are the best to show the graphic designers’
distinguishing features.
Posters, like the other parts, have been transfigured so basically
in their use, form, size, way of presenting and using the technology
but they still remain as a reality.
According to all these things, posters have been defined several
times but undoubtedly those definitions can have a good coverage
of a few posters while the others are not defined yet and this the
most exciting area because every time a poster is created, the number
of undefined posters is increased but still one thing is certain.
Posters are always posters with the same importance.
